Although the Napkin Cuban Forever writes like a pen but is permanent like a pen it unlike any other. The Napkin Cuban Forever is made from solid maple with a unique ferrule alloy Ethergraf® tip that last forever. There is no need to replace a refill add ink or lead. This patented tip uses oxidation to create a line that looks like it was left by a pencil but is permanent. The shape of the Napkin Cuban Forever is perfectly balanced and well sized for sketching.

This is the Napkin Forever Cuban writing instrument. It comes in a small cardboard box, has a picture of the actual writing instrument on it, and information about the pen and Napkin. Bought this to smoke, and was I surprised! Mixed review, here, as I bought this as a novelty item, versus something to use every day. Pretty pricey, but I knew that going in. Yes, it writes a visible fat pencil line, but you gotta want it, as it takes some downforce to get what you want. This is about a "3" hardness pencil lead. Beautiful, exottic wood, nice shape in the hand, EZ to put in pants pocket or purse - can't damage anything delicate in either locale.
