The Pelikan M200 Smoky Quartz fountain pen is a special edition pen to match the Edelstein ink of the year smoky quartz ink.
The cap and barrel of the pen are made of a transparent brown smoky quartz color and gold color trim. The pen has been fitted with a gold color stainless steel nib and has a piston fill system for bottled inks.
Choose from just the pen or make it a gift pack with the Pelikan Edelstein Smoky Quartz ink included. The gift pack comes with a special gold labeled bottle of the Smoky Quartz ink you cannot buy anywhere else.

Included with the pen is a small leather pouch. The Pelikan logo is embossed in the corner of the pouch. You can also order the pen with a bottle of Edelstein Smoky Quartz ink. If you get it with the bottle of ink, it has a special bottle of ink with gold lettering, but it doesn't come with the leather pouch, so that is the difference between the two.
On the top of the cap of the pen, you can see the Pelikan logo in the gold color with gold-colored trim, and the pelican bill-shaped clip. A gold ring in the center of the pen, on the bottom of the cap that has "Pelikan", and "Germany" on the backside. Another matching ring at the bottom of the barrel. The pen has been made from this beautiful smoky quartz resin that is translucent. You can see through it just a little bit. Through the cap you can see the nib on the pen. Beautiful color, glossy finish with the smoky quartz resin. Matching section on the pen, and you can see the nib on the pen. It comes with a gold-plated stainless steel nib, and the feed on the back side of the pen.
Like Pelikan Souverän pens, this pen has the piston actuator to fill the pen with the bottled inks. That is controlled with the knob on the end of the barrel of the pen.

Pelikan M200 Smoky Quartz Video Script
This is the special edition M200 Smoky Quartz fountain pen. It comes in a traditional Pelikan box which is a bronze-ish color with the Pelikan logo in brown, and that box slides off.Included with the pen is a small leather pouch. I bought the pen and ink set, so I have a Smoky Quartz pen and a bottle of Smoky Quartz ink. I'm not a big fan of brown (this is my first brownish ink), but I REALLY like the pen, and I'm liking the ink quite a bit more than I expected to. This was a bit of an impulse buy, but I'm really glad I got it.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The M200 Smoky Quartz is a beautiful pen, very light and easy to use. It's smaller than other models, but still big enough for me to use unposted, and not at all unbalanced when posted. The fine nib is very smooth, and a pleasure to write with. My first Pelikan is a definite hit! With the Edelstein Smoky Quartz ink, this special edition pair is certainly a worthy addition. Thank you, Pen Chalet!

I am very impressed with how smoothly the fountain pen writes. It’s also got a little give at the nib which is a nice feature especially if you tend to write in cursive. I’m glad to have gotten it.
