I got this in a broad nib. It’s so smooth and amazing to write with it surprised me. Comfortable to write with for long periods. Tight cap so nib doesn’t dry out. Good buy.

Great, very affordable pen. The medium nib is very smooth, no skipping or railroading ever (as with all Diplomat nibs!). Fits well in a shirt pocket, not too small, not too large. Very practical and nice finish!

It's everything you love about Diplomat. One of, if not the best, steel nibs I have ever used. There is something about the very industrial yet refined appearance of the Aero that I have not seen elsewhere. I loved this so much, I even purchased one for my mother. She also loves hers.
Finally, Pen Chalet has this at such a good discount that you would be silly to pass on it. If you're thinking of getting an Aero- do it.

My Diplomat Aero in the Champagne is one of my favorite pens. I've wanted one of these pens for some time and when Pen Chalet offered them at a great price and in the color that was my favorite, I couldn't resist. It's a lovely pen and writes perfectly. It is currently inked with FWP's Sparkling Champagne - a perfect combination if ever there was. The pen fits my hand so well and writing with it - it's like silk. The words just glide onto the paper as if by magic. Lovely.

This is the pen equivalent of gemutlichkeit. It is beefy, on the heavy side but comfortable in my hand. I write left handed and find with my push style of scribbling that the flow using a medium steel nib is abit wet but with my hand usually tilted downward I’m not smearing the ink. I’m dry satisfied with this pen.

I like this pen. It’s uniquely designed. The shape is sharp in its feel of the rings from black to purple. I’m still getting used to the feel. The grip is a little slippery in my hand because I broke my right arm last year close to my wrist so I don’t have the strength and range of motion in my grip. I like the extra fine nib. It’s very smooth with only a little feedback.

I think it looks awesome. This pen is large and chunky. I love that on a pen but if you don’t, this is not for you. Solid made more like a tank than a zeppelin.

This pen has a beautiful anodized aluminum finish, which is very durable. Its design is unique, inspired by dirigibles (Zeppelins) of the past. It is a superb writer. And minorly, this pen has one of the most satisfying clicks when capped.

I’ve got about 25 Diplomats with #6 steel Jowo Medium nibs and this is the first that is inconsistent. It writes like a wet Fine but is very nice nontheless! The grip section surface seems a bit slippery to hold. The odd thing about this pen is the feel of the body and cap. I have a blue and an orange Elox Ring and when you run your fingers over them they feel smooth. The etched cuts on this “Matrix” are so sharp the surface feels raspy. The pen certainly won’t slip out of your hand. Still, the pen looks great and should be quite serviceable!

This is one of the smoothest nibs I have ever experienced! I liked it so much I ordered this one in a fine nib, which I ordinarily do not like, but the Diplomat fine nibs are great writers and the Traveller is a great value! I particularly enjoy the long, slender grip section. Excellent pen!
