About the Stipula Limited Edition Florentia Montezuma
The Stipula Limited Edition Florentia Montezuma fountain pens are made of stunning orange/grey ebonite paired with gold trim limited to just 99 pieces. The piston-filling fountain pens are fitted with a 14kt Sti-Flex gold nib (varying sizes). The friction-fitted 14kt gold Sti-Flex nib is an in-house nib and offers natural line variation along with the flexibility to generate even greater line variation if desired. The sublime nib is paired with an ebonite feed for rich, consistent ink flow.
The beautiful limited edition fountain pen's elegantly chiseled clip features a streamlined design decorated by the well-known Stipula leaves (part of the company logo). The pen is flat at the top and bottom, and the cap ring features more of the Stipula leaves. The cap is threaded, and the section matches the barrel. The piston filling system is operated by the piston knob at the end of the barrel.
To operate a Stipula piston filler, you turn the piston knob counterclockwise to fill the pen with ink, and clockwise to expel the ink. (This is the opposite of most other fountain pens in the industry). The Stipula logo is etched on the barrel along with the pen's serial number (limited to just 99 pieces).
